Step 1: Creating a Cadence

Cadence Tab: Begin by accessing the Cadence tab. You can do this by selecting "Cadence-> Manage Cadence" from the navigation bar.

  • Name: Provide a descriptive name for your cadence that conveys its purpose.
  • Tags: Organize your cadences by associating tags. Add tags by clicking the "Tags" field and entering your desired tags.
  • Permitted Days: Choose the days of the week when the cadence should run by selecting from the "Permitted Days" field.
  • Start Date and Time: Specify the start date and time for the cadence by clicking the "Start Date" and "Start Time" fields.

After entering the cadence details, you will have these options:

  • Reset: Use this option to clear all the entered details.
  • Close: Click to exit the cadence creation process.
  • Next: Proceed to the next step to continue configuring your cadence.

Step 2: Adding Email Phases

  • Add Email Phase: After successfully creating your cadence, click the "Add Email Phase" button to start adding emails to it.
  • Step Type: Email: Emails will be automatically scheduled for delivery. You can customize each email if needed, and they will be sent automatically according to your schedule.
  • Send Email In: Choose the specific day, hour, or minute for scheduling the start of the first phase.

You will have the following options:

Creating Content with AI Assistance:

Once you click "Add," the screen display an editor where you can create your content. Here, Clodura integrates an AI-suggested content generation option. After generating the content, click "Save" to store your content conveniently.

You have the option to utilize "Mapwords" to substitute the real text. You can independently set "Mapwords" for both the email subject and email content.

Additionally, you can save the content as a template for future reuse.

Email Me When Read is a notification checkbox. If checked, the system will promptly notify you in real-time when recipients read the email.

You can also find an Add Unsubscribe Link checkbox. If checked, the system will automatically add an unsubscribe link at the end of the email. This allows recipients to opt out of future email communications if they choose not to receive them.

Including Original Text essentially means appending the content from the previous phase's sent email when sending the current phase's email. For example, if you enable "Include Original" for Phase 2, the email sent in Phase 2 will have the content from Phase 1 appended at the end.

You can include additional email addresses in the CC (Carbon Copy) and BCC (Blind Carbon Copy) fields.

Testing Email and Preview:

To ensure the content looks as expected and functions correctly:

  • Preview: Click this button to see how the content will appear to recipients. The preview will accurately reflect the actual text, if used "Mapwords" to replace specific content.
  • Test Email: Use this button to send a test email to verify its appearance and functionality before sending it to recipients. You can test the email using your account ID or add another recipient's ID for testing.
