Manage Cadence
The Cadence Management page is your central hub for efficient cadence control.
It offers:
Comprehensive Overview: See all your created cadences along with key statistics, providing a quick snapshot of performance.
Efficient Search: Find specific cadences by searching for their name, email, contact name, or company name.
Analytics for Multiple Cadences: Analyze multiple cadences at once for easy performance comparison and assessment.
Team Analytics (Admin Only): If you're an admin, you can access team analytics, allowing you to monitor and evaluate the performance of multiple teams for effective management.
Step 1: Creating a Cadence
Cadence Tab: Begin by accessing the Cadence tab. You can do this by selecting "Cadence-> Manage Cadence" from the navigation bar.
Create Cadence: Within the Cadences tab, click the "Create Cadence" button. This action opens a new window where you can configure your cadence.
Cadence Details: Enter the following details to create your cadence:
- Name: Provide a descriptive name for your cadence that conveys its purpose.
- Tags: Organize your cadences by associating tags. Add tags by clicking the "Tags" field and entering your desired tags.
- Permitted Days: Choose the days of the week when the cadence should run by selecting from the "Permitted Days" field.
- Start Date and Time: Specify the start date and time for the cadence by clicking the "Start Date" and "Start Time" fields.
After entering the cadence details, you will have these options:
- Reset: Use this option to clear all the entered details.
- Close: Click to exit the cadence creation process.
- Next: Proceed to the next step to continue configuring your cadence.
Step 2: Adding Email Phases
- Add Email Phase: After successfully creating your cadence, click the "Add Email Phase" button to start adding emails to it.
- Step Type: Email: Emails will be automatically scheduled for delivery. You can customize each email if needed, and they will be sent automatically according to your schedule.
- Send Email In: Choose the specific day, hour, or minute for scheduling the start of the first phase.
You will have the following options:
- Close: To exit and close the email phase.
- Add: Select the "Add" button to include the phase you've created.
Creating Content with AI Assistance:
Once you click "Add," the screen display an editor where you can create your content. Here, Clodura integrates an AI-suggested content generation option. After generating the content, click "Save" to store your content conveniently.
You have the option to utilize "Mapwords" to substitute the real text. You can independently set "Mapwords" for both the email subject and email content.
Additionally, you can save the content as a template for future reuse.
Email Me When Read is a notification checkbox. If checked, the system will promptly notify you in real-time when recipients read the email.
You can also find an Add Unsubscribe Link checkbox. If checked, the system will automatically add an unsubscribe link at the end of the email. This allows recipients to opt out of future email communications if they choose not to receive them.
Including Original Text essentially means appending the content from the previous phase's sent email when sending the current phase's email. For example, if you enable "Include Original" for Phase 2, the email sent in Phase 2 will have the content from Phase 1 appended at the end.
You can include additional email addresses in the CC (Carbon Copy) and BCC (Blind Carbon Copy) fields.
Testing Email and Preview:
To ensure the content looks as expected and functions correctly:
- Preview: Click this button to see how the content will appear to recipients. The preview will accurately reflect the actual text, if used "Mapwords" to replace specific content.
- Test Email: Use this button to send a test email to verify its appearance and functionality before sending it to recipients. You can test the email using your account ID or add another recipient's ID for testing.
Managing Cadence and Phase Status:
- Pause Cadence: Utilize the toggle to temporarily pause the cadence.
- Activate Cadence: Use the toggle to resume and activate the cadence.
- Pause Phase: Employ the toggle to temporarily pause the phase.
- Activate Phase: Use the toggle to resume and activate the phase.
You have the option to delete any phase you have created in case it was not drafted properly.
Step 3: Adding Contacts to Cadence
To add contacts to your cadence, follow these steps:
Navigate to Contacts tab -> Click Add -> You have three options to add contacts to your cadence:
- Take Me to Contact Search: This option takes you to Contact Search, where you can promptly add contacts to a cadence. You also have the option to include contacts from your Saved Contacts, which are contacts you've already unlocked.
- Select List: Add created lists to your cadence directly from the list section.
- Upload CSV: Add created CSV files to your cadence directly by browsing and selecting the file.
Exploring other options of Contacts Tab
- Show Filters: Allows you to filter out contacts using various available filters. It is a powerful tool to refine your contact selection and tailor it to your specific needs.
- Export: Export contacts to CSV if you wish to.
- Mark as Finished: You can manually designate specific contacts as "Finished." Once marked as finished, these contacts will no longer receive subsequent email phases. The system also automatically marks contacts as Finished if they have replied, unsubscribed, or bounced.
- Remove: Removing contact means they are permanently taken out of the cadence, and they won't be part of it anymore.
- Paused Contact: You have the capability to temporarily pause individual contacts to suspend their progress within the cadence.
- Resume Contact: Contacts that were previously paused can be easily resumed. It's important to note that resuming contact doesn't affect those with the "Finished" status, as they have successfully completed their journey in the cadence.
- Set Stage: You have the option to assign stages to a group of selected contacts in bulk. Simply select the desired stage you'd like to assign to these contacts. The available stages include Cold, Approaching, Replied, Interested, Not Interested, Unresponsive, Do Not Contact, and Bad Data. This feature streamlines the management of multiple contacts within the same stage, ensuring you can easily track and organize them as per your requirements.
- QwikMail: Offers swift email sending capabilities, even if it is added to a cadence.
- Search Partners: Utilize the Search Partner service to unlock Direct Dial information for multiple contacts in bulk.
- Search Recipients: Search for recipients by entering their name in the search box.
Furthermore, this tab empowers you to refine your results using column-specific filters in a table format.
- Status: Check the status of your emails from this section. You can filter by statuses like Active, Paused, Finished and Skipped. Simply select a status to refine the list accordingly.
- Phase: Easily view a specific phase by selecting it here. This enables you to focus on a particular phase, whether it's Phase 1, Phase 2, Phase 3, and so on.
- Stage: This section allows you to view contacts or filter out contacts based on specific stages. For efficient contact management, you can assign stages to your selected contacts by marking the checkboxes. Choose the stage you wish to assign to these contacts. The available stages include Cold, Approaching, Replied, Interested, Not Interested, Unresponsive, Do not Contact, and Bad Data.
Select the number of recipients to view per page at the bottom right of the platform. You can choose 25, 50, or 100 recipients per page.
Exploring options of Email Tab
- Show Filters: Allows you to filter out contacts using various available filters. It is a powerful tool to refine your contact selection and tailor it to your specific needs.
- Reschedule: To reschedule contacts, simply select the contacts you wish to reschedule and click the "Reschedule" button. A pop-up window will guide you through scheduling the emails for the next available day or a custom date and time of your preference.
- Delete: This option permits you to remove chosen email from the cadence. When an email is deleted from the Email Tab, the associated contact will be marked as "Finished" on the Contact Tab.
- Skip: You can skip selected emails from this point, bypassing the current phase in the cadence and advancing the email to the next phase. You also have the option to skip all subsequent phases.
- Retry Undelivered Emails: If you want to retry sending undelivered emails, this feature allows you to initiate the process. The pop-up window provides options for scheduling the emails on the next available day or a custom date and time.
- Mark Interested: This function lets you designate selected contacts as "Interested."
- Export: You can export emails with statistics information to CSV, export link tracking counts, or export emails to a CRM, based on your specific requirements.
- QwikMail: Offers swift email sending capabilities, even if it is added to a cadence.
- Search Partners: Utilize the Search Partner service to unlock Direct Dial information for multiple contacts in bulk.
- Search Recipients: Search for recipients by entering their name in the search box.
Moreover, this tab provides the capability to enhance your results by employing column-specific filters within a table format for the Status and Schedule columns.
You can arrange results in either ascending or descending order for read and link count.

Overview Tab: Displays key statistics for your cadence, including email progress, engagement, completion, and testing options.
Report Tab: The "Reports" tab is a vital resource for monitoring and enhancing your email cadence's performance and engagement metrics. It offers a comprehensive overview of key metrics, including sent, read, replied, and link click rates, while also tracking bounces and unsubscribes. Moreover, it provides valuable insights into contact location, seniority, and industry-specific cadence performance.
This information can be presented in both graphical and tabular formats, allowing for a comprehensive analysis of your email campaigns. Additionally, the tab provides insights into open rate, reply rate, and link click rate for top contacts and companies.
In summary, the "Reports" tab empowers you to track and improve your email campaigns using data-driven insights, ensuring optimized engagement and performance.
