Contact Name Suppression
Creating and Managing Name Suppression Lists:
To explore the name suppression feature, navigate to either the Contact or Companies module
- Click on the respective module (Contact or Companies) from the options available in the navbar.
- Choose the appropriate tab for your search, either "Search Contact" or "Search Companies."
- Within the search filter options, locate the suppression section.
- Click on the "Suppression List" next to the Contact Name suppression list filter.
To generate a new list, opt for the "New List" radio option, input the new list's name, choose the suppression list to include, and upload a CSV file from your device by utilizing the "Drag and Drop" feature, followed by clicking the Upload button.
Please ensure that, the file format is CSV and has the mandatory First Name, Last Name & Company Name column. You can upload files with up to 100,000 records in a list at once.
After uploading the list, you will be directed to the panel where you can access contact details from the uploaded list. You have the option to delete a specific name from this panel. To delete a particular record, simply click on the "Remove" button in the “Action” column on the rightmost side.
If you choose the wrong CSV file, you can remove it by clicking on "Not This File?" This will redirect you back to the same panel where you initially "Drag & Drop" your CSV.
If you want to find specific contacts, enter the contact's name in the "Search Name" box, and the corresponding record will be displayed in the panel.
Save And Select list:
If you choose the "Save & Select List" option, the system will save the specified list, and the list name will be immediately visible in the Contact Name Suppression filter.
Save List:
Selecting "Save List" saves the contacts directly to the specified new list.
Once the Name Suppression list is added, it will be available in the dropdown menu. This will allow you to easily select the list.
Existing List
If you wish to include a new name CSV file into the existing list, employ the "Existing List" option. Drag and drop the CSV file, and it will add the contacts from the dragged CSV to the Existing List.
Manage Name List
To delete a specific list, just check the checkbox next to the list name on the left and then click the delete button. This will remove the list from the records.
To remove a specific contact from the list, click on the "Show Contacts" icon, you have the option to delete a specific name from this panel. To delete a particular record, simply click on the "Remove" button in the “Action” column on the rightmost side.
